What is the shelf life of your products?

We do not use any preservatives in our products so the shelf life is between 6-12 months, if they are kept properly in a cool, dry place.Questions" button.
Are you products free of chemicals and synthetics?

The only chemical that we use in any of our products is sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, to make our soaps. However, when the saponification process is complete, the Lye will have mixed into the oils and be gone. By the time our soaps have cured, we are left with a beautiful and gentle soap
What if my items melted?

Due to the ingredients that we use, several of our products will not hold up well to heat. We provide tracking info for all orders, so please make sure during the warmer months that you are home for your deliver to ensure your items do not melt. Also, we don't suggest keeping the products in warm cars, window sills, etc
Where does your name come from?

Bear Roots homestead comes from having roots in California and also plays on “bare roots”. Bare root plants are harvested during their dominancy or rest period, as we like to think of it, and then when planted they are more adaptable to their new environment. We want our family to thrive wherever we are because we have rested in God and we rely upon Him for our strength, peace, joy and wisdom.
